Who We Are:

Quantum Human Performance was born from more than 30 years of experience developing over 8,000 Olympic, Professional, and Division 1 collegiate athletes spanning more than 35 sports. QHP’s unparalleled performance team is made up of talented and well-qualified coaches with degrees in exercise science and highly trained physical therapists utilizing the most cutting-edge modalities in the industry.

Summary:

Quantum Human Performance is interested in contributing to the professional development of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology, or Exercise Science students eager to further their applied knowledge, experience, and qualifications in the human performance field. This internship offers an interactive immersion into the careers of Strength and Conditioning, Physical Therapy, and Sport Science, exposing interns to a diverse clientele. Your role will extend to providing exercise guidance, mastering the exercise programming process, learning to conduct assessments, and observing the synergistic relationship between QHP coaches and physical therapy staff.

Other preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a master’s program directly related to the field of human performance
  • Currently holds a CSCS certification
  • Previous experience working in a collegiate strength and conditioning environment
  • Proficiency with social media apps and/or experience generating social media posts for a business or institution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a university with an intended degree in exercise science or a related field, or currently holds a degree in a related field
  • Applied experience in the field of human performance
  • Completion of required health and safety training (CPR/AED/FA, HIPPA, etc…)
  • Reliable transportation to and from our facility in Ocala, FL

Physical Requirements:

  • Candidates should be able to lift >50 pounds and remain on their feet for the majority of their shift.
  • Candidates should also be able to physically assist QHP clients and demonstrate movements if necessary.
